Regional historical museum

The Regional Historical Museum in Vratsa has existed since 1953.

It is located in the central part of the city, at the foot of the Vratsa Balkans. It is included in the Hundred National Tourist Sites. The building is one of the few in Bulgaria that is specially designed and built for a museum. Apart from the central building, its expositions are located in 8 other sites, united in two complexes. The museum conducts archeological research. The Ivan Funev Art Gallery is also located in its building.
